Percorso — Italian. A path; a journey.
The name was chosen deliberately. Percorso was founded in Florence on a simple conviction: that a life in motion deserves clothing made for it — and that the two defining forces of our time, accelerating technology and vanishing traditional craft, need not remain strangers. In our garments, they are made to meet. Every Percorso piece is developed with the most advanced Italian textiles and constructed by hand, using artisanal methods that took generations to refine and could disappear within one.
We are building the modern man's wardrobe one piece at a time. Not collections. Not seasons. One garment, perfected, then the next — made entirely in Italy, in deliberately limited quantities, for the man who recognises the difference and quietly insists on it.
The Reversible Vest
The vest has become the central garment of the modern wardrobe. It has quietly taken the blazer's place — worn over a dress shirt in the boardroom, over knitwear on a Sunday, at ease across a wider range of occasions than any other layer a man owns. And yet no one had taken it seriously. It was treated as an accessory, an afterthought; never designed as if it mattered.
We spent eighteen months proving it could be. Prototype after prototype — the cut refined, the proportions redrawn, the hidden functionality resolved: voluminous concealed pockets that carry what a jacket would, without ever disturbing the line. At its heart, a technical Italian textile protected by two patents, paired with a refined Italian microfleece. The construction is fully reversible, so a single garment holds two distinct expressions — one composed, one relaxed — and moves between them as the day demands.
The result is equally at home in a New York boardroom and a Milanese studio. It is, we believe, the first vest designed with the seriousness the garment now deserves.
The Shirt
The second piece followed the same discipline: a dress shirt, simple and exact in every detail. Its collar and cuffs are built on traditional unfused interlining — a slower, older method that preserves the shirt's natural structure and lets it gradually mould to its wearer, becoming more personal with every year it is worn. Fine Italian cotton. Mother-of-pearl buttons, carved by hand, attached by hand. Nothing else; nothing missing.
What Follows
The wardrobe continues. Each future piece is developed with the same patience, produced in the same limited numbers, and released only when it is ready. We announce them first — and only — to those who have asked to know.
